As Netflix’s steamy, suspense-filled series “The Hunting Wives” continues to dominate the streaming charts, many viewers are hopeful that the story won’t end with the first season.

Though the adaptation was set in the fictional town of Maple Brook, Texas, a handful of Charlotte-area landmarks served as the backdrop for the show, including downtown Mooresville, Coyote Joe’s and Dilworth Tasting Room, CharlotteFive reported.
